products

Using the mark to promote
pure sugar

A spoonful of syrup, a tin of Ragus golden syrup and a scoop of demerera sugar

Growers and producers can apply to use the mark. Producers can use the mark to show that sugar as a product adheres to Codex Alimentarius.

Sugar manufacturers can apply to use the mark on packs of white or raw sugar and syrups to show that the contents are pure and made from naturally grown sugar.

Food manufacturers can apply to use the mark on their packaging to show that pure sugar is the only sweetening ingredient used.
